Bird Blind, Red Deer

PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS

CLIENT REQUEST:

The City of Red Deer wanted to replace the aging bird blind walkway approach and blind. The work had to be done so as to minimize environmental impacts and reuse as much of the good timbers as possible. The timeline was compressed so as to provide public access and wildlife viewing.

IMC SOLUTION:

All equipment was converted to biodegradable fluids. IMC then mobilized equipment through the winter access route. The existing blind and walk were removed, all good timber was removed to the shop for cleaning and refurbishing. IMC then completed the deck framing and decking for the pathway and viewing area. Demobilization and final cleanup were all done within the allotted time before any thaw.
