PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS
CLIENT REQUEST:
The condo board needed to review the existing building envelope in order to address and alleviate concerns about the existing building envelope as part of the on-going maintenance of the facility and to do this to make necessary repairs while maintaining full occupancy.
IMC SOLUTION:
IMC completed a review of the envelope, including FIR camera work along with destructive testing in areas known to be of concern. Upon completing this testing IMC developed a cost-effective work plan to address problem areas and to rejuvenate the main building envelope. IMC then undertook systematic repairs, including installation of wall drains at the bottom of the exterior walls, installation of new flashings around penetrations, and recoating the stucco with an elastomeric coating.
